devendra's new lp lies somewhere between
kooky and crazy, hispanic and folk.

sounds vary, from flutes and rattle snakes,
scratchily picked guitar, ghostly violin and gospel choirs.
this seems a departure from the somber
acoustic sounds of nino rojo, a 'more' production,
with many new friends.
